What our clients say

I started going to Eva for acupuncture as I had been trying to get pregnant and a friend had mentioned fertility acupuncture to me.
I had a very long menstrual cycle & through my acupuncture sessions with Eva and  taking my Chinese herbs as recommended, my cycle began to get shorter and shorter. I also found that I was less stressed and sleeping better.

Fast forward a few months of weekly acupuncture, I was thrilled to become pregnant and welcomed a baby girl. My cycle continues to be regular and I know this is a direct result of the acupuncture I received.

After a miscarriage, myself and my partner had been trying for a baby for almost 2 years with no results.  We had been seeing fertility specialists and tried some different approaches with them, none of which worked.  After our first IUI round which failed, we looked for other methods.  Acupuncture was recommended to me by a friend and this is how i first met Eva.  She was very friendly and welcoming and put me right at ease from my first visit.

Eva sat with me and talked to me about the practice of acupuncture and also chinese herbs which she used and off we went to start our journey.  Two more rounds of IUI later and we welcomed our beautiful baby into the world.  I fully believe that Eva is a huge part of reason that my wonderful girl is here today.  She is almost two years old now and I couldn’t thank Eva more for the wonderful help she gave me.

I attended Eva for acupuncture to address fertility issues and subsequently nausea in pregnancy.  She is very caring and easy to chat to about all aspects of health.  My consultations and acupuncture treatment with Eva helped to prepare me emotionally and physically for the rigours of IVF.  After an unsuccessful IVF attempt I found acupuncture to be of great benefit in helping to balance hormones and address the grief and difficult emotions experienced after this event.

Eva’s kindness and words of support were very appreciated and helped me to approach the next IVF cycle with renewed confidence.  To my delight and joy, the cycle was successful and I continued to attend acupuncture with Eva to support the pregnancy and to address pregnancy nausea and motion sickness and got good relief on both fronts.  Eva has been a wonderful support on a very difficult path thanks to her expertise, warmth and positivity and I would highly recommend her to anyone experiencing difficulties in the area of fertility.

I went to Eva based on the recommendation of my pharmacist while I was collecting my drugs for another round of IVF. At our initial consultation she was able to accurately describe my general health and menstrual cycle based on her assessment. She advised three months of preparation prior to another cycle to allow my system to respond to treatment and give my body the best chance possible to get5 pregnant and sustain a pregnancy. I followed her recommendations and suggestions for lifestyle changes, took the  herbs prescribed along with weekly sessions of acupuncture leading up to my cycle. And it was such good advice as my system was definitely off form. I really noticed the difference physically and emotionally from previous cycles.  Eva tracked my progress through my IVF cycle and completed my pre and post sessions on transfer day at a time to suit me. This meant attending her at 7.30am for an acupuncture session and later that day. All the hard work paid off and we now have the most amazing baby(ever!!). Having had a failed fresh cycle, a failed frozen cycle and a cancelled fresh cycle I truly believe Eva’s input on our fourth attempt made all the difference and I have recommended her to a number of friends since.

I used Eva for acupuncture for my last two pregnancies from about 36/37 weeks. Both were successful VBACs following a section for a breech baby first time around. The acupuncture was absolutely fabulous in preparation for labour and birth.

I have been for acupuncture in the past and have currently started pregnancy acupuncture at 37 weeks. I find it so relaxing and it’s really helping me prepare for the birth. I feel so much calmer and ready to face the big day. It’s also helped with heartburn, backache and a few other niggles. Eva is totally professional whilst conducting the practice in a relaxed and calm atmosphere. I can’t recommend the clinic and Eva’s work highly enough.
